Marlon Tate designed and art directed the visual identity and marketing campaign of Collaborative Unit exhibition series in central London. Initiated by London College of Fashion and University of the Arts London, these pop-up exhibitions focused on exploring the theme of collaboration between students of different artistic disciplines and cultures. The flagship exhibition took place in Covent Garden and was titled ‘The Future is Now’.

Our branding is built around a monochrome visual language consisting of an italicised serif typeface. Central to the visual identity is our custom logo mark that has been designed to evoke the notion of collaboration through the connecting letterforms. The scope of the project spanned across a logo, exhibition catalogues, posters and environmental graphics.
